Job summary

Cityscape Recruitment is seeking a Remediation Engineer in Mitcham, London, UK to support contaminated land remediation and enabling works across the South East. You will supervise on-site activities, coordinate planning, and produce technical documents, RAMS and reports.

The role requires 1–3 years post-graduate experience, a relevant environmental/engineering degree, and a full UK driving licence. Travel to project sites across the South East is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' post-graduate experience in a relevant environmental or engineering discipline.
• Site-based experience in contaminated land, remediation, earthworks or enabling works would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate remediation and enabling works from pre-start planning through to project completion.
• Supervise site activities including excavation, drilling, earthworks, soil treatment and remediation works.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including remediation strategies and project reports.
• Monitor environmental sampling and verification works.
• Manage subcontractors and permits, and liaise with clients/regulators.
