Penguin Recruitment is seeking a motivated Remediation Engineer to join our Bristol team, delivering remediation and environmental improvement projects. The role blends site-based work with technical duties to support sustainable land development across Bristol.

You will contribute to contaminated land and earthworks projects, working closely with experienced colleagues across the full project lifecycle. The position offers a permanent role with opportunities for training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Degree in Remediation Engineering, Geology, or related discipline.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Live within commutable distance of Bristol office.
• Experience in remediation or contaminated land is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site investigations, sampling, and monitoring.
• Assist design and implementation of remediation strategies.
• Support earthworks and materials management activities.
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators.
