Remediation Engineer

As part of my client’s ongoing expansion and confirmed future workload, they have identified the need to recruit a permanent Remediation Engineer to assist with the technical delivery of remediation projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the production of remediation strategies, materials management plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor environmental emissions.
  • Supervise site activities such as excavations.
  • Set up and maintain soil and water treatment systems.
  • Carry out verification contamination sampling.
  • Arrange laboratory and site geotechnical/earthworks testing.
  • Ensure site records are up to date.
  • Oversee and track material movements.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in civil engineering, environmental science, geology, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in remediation activities.
  • Valid driving license required.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and work away from home; full subsistence covered.
