Our client, a major UK retail bank, offers everyday banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The bank's expertise spans Business Services, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail, and Investment Banking.

AMS is seeking a Remediation Customer Service Specialist for a 6-month contract based in Manchester—working 2 days per week on-site and the remainder from home. The first two weeks will involve training in the office.

Purpose of the Role: You will join a specialist Remediation team to deliver successful outcomes for the business and customers. Your responsibilities include responding to queries promptly within SLAs, investigating transactions, and working collaboratively to improve customer service, processes, and procedures.

Your duties will include:

  1. Responding to complex customer queries, processing, authorizing, and investigating transactions.
  2. Communicating directly with customers and the business to collect and analyze information.
  3. Participating in initiatives to enhance customer service and operational procedures.
  4. Reviewing processing errors and customer complaints to identify trends and training needs.
  5. Investigating queries, completing administrative tasks, supporting business processes, and understanding customer and business needs.
  6. Engaging with customers via telephone regarding remediation activity, based on direct mailings.
  7. Liaising with customers and businesses to accurately gather information and resolve queries.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Customer Service experience
  • Telephony experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Financial services experience (desirable)
  • Remediation experience (desirable)
