Job summary

HSL Compliance is hiring a Remedial Plumber in Brighton. A full UK driving licence is essential, with full training provided to build a rewarding career in a growing water safety field.

You will perform remedial repairs, travel to various sites, install and maintain pipework, and conduct water sampling while keeping accurate records and following health and safety protocols. DBS checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• City and Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing is required.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
• Confidence to work independently once trained.
• Good communication and customer service skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Perform remedial repairs to ensure water system compliance.
• Travel to different sites daily (company vehicle provided after training).
• Install, repair, and maintain pipework, tanks and valves.
• Conduct water sampling, temperature checks, and system flushing.
• Clean and descale showerheads and fixtures; keep records.

What You’ll Do

• Perform remedial repairs to ensure water system compliance
• Travel to different sites each day (company vehicle provided after training)
• Install, repair, and maintain pipework, tanks, and valves
• Conduct water sampling, temperature checks, and system flushing
• Clean and descale showerheads and other fixtures
• Keep accurate records and liaise with clients onsite
• Follow HSE’s ACoP L8 and all health & safety protocols

What We’re Looking For

• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• City and Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing
• Reliability and strong work ethic
• Confidence to work independently once trained
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Proactive and enjoys solving problems
• Previous experience in water hygiene, plumbing or legionella control (beneficial)
• Ability to follow processes and work safely
• A DBS check maybe required.
