Job summary

Severn Trent seeks a proactive professional to lead potable tank remediation in Shelton, focusing on safety, quality and environmental compliance. You will ensure remedial works meet standards, address water quality risks, and maintain care for tanks of all sizes and locations.

Committed to continuous improvement, you will capture assurance data for asset grading and future investment planning, safeguarding colleagues, customers and the environment across all operations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proactive mindset.
• Qualified in health, safety, environmental standards, and water hygiene; knowledge of potable water tanks and water-tightening materials.
• IT literate and proficient with mobile applications and MS Office; holds a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver potable tank remediation programme in collaboration with Assurance Specialists and Treatment Teams, ensuring compliance with SLA requirements.
• Perform and manage remedial repairs safely, following CDM regulations and environmental standards, with all permits in place.
• Identify and resolve blockers, seek innovative solutions to improve efficiency and water quality resilience, and maintain strict health and safety practices.
• Engage and coordinate with stakeholders, ensuring proper material handling, disposal, and minimal environmental impact during operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our Potable Tanks Team at Shelton. You'll be responsible for delivering the potable tank remediation programme with a strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Ensuring all remedial works meet required standards, addressing water quality risks and maintaining consistent care for all tanks regardless of size or location.

Committed to continuous improvement and fostering a positive culture, while capturing accurate assurance data for asset grading and future investment planning. Demonstrates a proactive approach to safeguarding colleagues, customers, and the environment throughout all operations.
