Requirements for applicants:

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ plumbing qualification or equivalent
• Experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude and technical ability
• Problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset
• Experience working independently, leading teams, and overcoming challenges
• Ability to discuss technical issues confidently and accurately complete reports and log books
• Physical capability for lifting, carrying, and climbing
• Full UK driving license

Duties and responsibilities:

• Plumbing tasks such as dead end/leg removal, ball valve replacement, installing insect screens, tank vents, fitting lids, lagging, TMV inspection & servicing, tap replacement, pipe rerouting, water heater replacement, softener installation, equipment installation, and tank replacements
• Monitoring water temperatures in outlets and tanks/cylinders
• Cleaning and disinfecting shower heads and outlets
• Visual water system inspections
• Water sampling and analysis
• Using site test kits for closed system analysis
• Chemical dosing
• Cooling tower cleaning, disinfection, and analysis
• Water feature analysis, sampling, and compliance documentation
• Descaling and internal inspections of calorifiers and water heaters
• Cleaning and disinfecting pipework systems and cold water storage tanks per BS 8558:2011
• Mains injection disinfections
• Softener servicing and disinfection
