A leading engineering recruitment agency seeks a hands-on Remanufacturing Engineer to support process development and continuous improvement in automotive components production. Key duties include leading teardown analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles. The ideal candidate has an HNC in Engineering, proven engineering experience, and strong problem-solving skills. This is a full-time position located in Cheadle, United Kingdom.
Qualifications
Proven manufacturing and product engineering experience.
Strong hands-on approach with practical problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
Lead teardown analysis and define remanufacturing processes for new products.
Provide engineering support for production issues and process improvements.
Develop and maintain tooling, equipment, and standard operating procedures.
Support New Product Introduction activities through to PPAP and tooling handover.
Drive process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
Manage documentation, equipment procurement, and capital expenditure for assigned projects.
