Nottingham City Council is seeking a Relocation Support Officer for a fixed-term role to manage the relocation of residents during housing improvements. This role involves coordinating emergency and temporary accommodations, providing ongoing support to tenants, and ensuring their housing benefits are maintained. Ideal candidates will be committed to service and innovation while accommodating the needs of vulnerable users.
Contract Type: Fixed Term/Secondment opportunity for 6 months
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Worker Type: Hybrid Worker
Salary: Grade G - £35,235 - £37,938 per annum pending pay award (Part-time pro rata)

As a Relocation Support Officer, you will manage and coordinate the relocation of residents as part of planned improvement works to our housing stock and decommissioning programmes. You will identify and manage relocations, emergency accommodation, and temporary homeless accommodation where needed.
You will provide ongoing support and tenancy management to customers during the relocation process, including ensuring the continuation of Universal Credit housing costs or Housing Benefit, managing rent arrears, and conducting regular reviews of tenants' support needs both within temporary accommodation and their new homes.
