Job summary

Workforce Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Factory Operative to join a client’s manufacturing team in Northern Ireland. This permanent, full-time position offers relocation support, full training and opportunities to gain valuable experience within a growing plant.

You will work as part of a production team manufacturing high-quality uPVC windows and doors using recycled and new materials, with duties covering loading/unloading, quality checks and process adherence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with hand tools and machinery, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a factory setting.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Physically capable of handling materials and performing manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow all production procedures and processes accurately.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and products.
• Identify production errors or faults and take the appropriate steps to rectify them.
• Report machinery or product faults to the Production Supervisor.
• Carry out all tasks for which training has been completed and signed off.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Communicate clearly with your Team Leader regarding all aspects of the role.
• Work to continuously improve your performance and skills.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times.
