Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team in Moray. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, care planning and evidence-based interventions for older adults experiencing mental health difficulties in the community.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience working within mental health services.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Commitment to person-centred, recovery-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and provide care for older adults with mental health difficulties in the community.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor progress.
• Work closely with patients, carers and partner agencies.
• Contribute to the ongoing delivery and development of high-quality community mental health services.
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes.
