The ideal candidate should have strong customer service skills and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the removals industry.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the Removals industry.
  • Experience in Removals, Transport, Logistics, Shipping, or Freight (Imports/Exports).

Responsibilities

  • Act as main point of contact for customers, handling bookings and quotes.
  • Liaise with Operations regarding the movement of items within the UK and overseas.
  • Handle customs clearances and perform general administrative duties.

Job description

Our client, an international removals company, is looking to appoint a Relocation Coordinator for their team based in Suffolk.

As the Relocation Coordinator, your role will be to act as the main point of contact for customers, booking services, calculating and preparing quotes, and following up on all enquiries.

On a day-to-day basis, you will liaise with Operations, Partners, and Suppliers regarding the movement of items within the UK and overseas.

Other duties include:

  • Focusing on the international aspects of movements (Import, Export, and European), with occasional UK movements
  • Handling customs clearances, insurance forms, international border control, and invoicing
  • Assisting with training Relocation Administers and supporting their progression to Relocation Coordinators
  • Performing general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and email correspondence

The ideal candidate will have experience in Removals, Transport, Logistics, Shipping, or Freight (Imports/Exports), and experience in the Property or Construction industries.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the Removals industry is required.

We are keen to speak with self-motivated candidates who possess excellent communication and strong customer service skills.

Experience required:

  • Fluent in speaking and writing English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong administrative and data entry skills
