Religious Studies Teacher - Hyde
Location: Hyde
Start Date: September 2025 covering maternity leave
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Daily Rate: 162 to 251 depending on experience.
Hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday
Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and inspiring Religious Studies Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Hyde. This full-time position will start in September covering maternity leave.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will bring energy, subject expertise, and strong classroom management skills. Youll be responsible for delivering engaging Religious Studies lessons, supporting students of all abilities, and helping them achieve excellent results at GCSE level.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have a track record of strong GCSE Religious Studies results
Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment
Be dynamic, enthusiastic, and committed to pupil progress
Confidently support students with a range of SEN, behavioural, and academic needs
Be able to inspire and challenge students to reach their full potential

Pay: 162 to 251 per day depending on experience.
Hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday

Requirements:
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS registered with the Update Service
Provide two recent and relevant teaching references
Have up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training (training can be provided if needed)
Be willing to complete all necessary vetting checks and register with Prospero Teaching
