The position begins in September 2025.

Duties as a Religious Studies Teacher:

1. Teach Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable)
2. Foster respectful debate, critical thinking, and empathy in the classroom
3. Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that reflect a balanced and inclusive curriculum
4. Assess pupil progress and provide high-quality feedback
5. Contribute to assemblies, enrichment days, and interfaith awareness activities

Ideal Religious Studies Teacher:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject
3. A strong knowledge of major world religions and ethical frameworks
4. Excellent classroom management and communication skills
5. A passion for engaging students in open-minded, meaningful discussion
