As a Religious Education Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of faith. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of Catholicism, and other world religions, while promoting a compassionate, reflective approach to life. Your role will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Religious Education lessons to students of various age groups (KS3, KS4, and KS5).
• Encouraging students to apply Religious values and ethical principles in their personal lives.
• Supporting students in their spiritual development, providing guidance and pastoral care when needed.
• Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure a holistic approach to education that reflects the Catholic ethos of the school.
• Contributing to the development of the Religious Education curriculum.
• Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Religious Education.
• Ensuring the effective delivery of the Religious Education syllabus.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Religious Education department.

Key Qualities We Are Looking For:

• A strong personal commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church and a desire to support students' faith journeys.
• A recognised teaching qualification in Religious Education, or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching Religious Education to secondary-aged students is highly desirable.
• A passion for developing young people both academically and spiritually.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a supportive and dynamic team.
