Job description

Are you a qualified Religious Education teacher looking for your next exciting opportunity in Nottingham? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school after the May half term, starting on Monday, 2nd June 2025. This role is available on either a supply or long-term basis, offering flexibility to suit your needs.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

  • Plan and teach high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Encourage respectful discussion and critical thinking around religious and ethical topics

  • Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Humanities department

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level
