Job summary

West Lothian Council in Livingston is seeking a highly motivated Teacher of Religious Education for St Margaret's Academy. You will deliver high-quality RE lessons, collaborate with staff and stakeholders to maximise student attainment, and contribute to the school ethos and community involvement.

The role is 35 hours per week, 47 weeks per year, fixed term until 15 August 2027. A valid GTCS registration and Catholic Church approval are essential for this position, with PVG scheme requirements

Qualifications

• A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland is essential.
• Written approval by the Catholic Church will be required for this position.
• This post is Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and PVG scheme checks are required before starting.
• PVG scheme membership costs (where applicable) will be deducted as per policy.
