Religious Education Teacher

Are you passionate about exploring life's big questions and helping young people develop their moral and cultural understanding? We are seeking a Religious Education Teacher to join a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Hillingdon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong subject knowledge and a real passion for Religious Education to make a lasting impact. While QTS is not mandatory, prior experience working in an education setting and a deep understanding of world religions, ethics, and philosophy is highly beneficial.

About the Role:

As a Religious Education Teacher, you will deliver thought-provoking and engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will encourage respectful discussion, critical thinking, and open-mindedness in a diverse student population. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent support from an experienced Humanities department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons
  2. Support students in exploring philosophical, moral, and cultural issues

  2. Experience in a secondary school or education setting (preferred)

  5. Open to both qualified and unqualified candidates with subject expertise
