Job summary

Creative Support in Hull is seeking Relief Waking Night Support Worker to assist with an Extra Care service for older adults. You will provide person-centred care, follow care plans, and maintain dignity and respect for individuals during night duties.

Shift hours are from 22:00 to 08:00, with duties including emergency response, handovers, and CCTV checks. A minimum of 12 months' experience in care is essential for all Relief roles.

• Provide person-centred support, to include personal care to a high standard in adherence with care plans, maintaining dignity and respect for individuals throughout.
• Collaborate with colleagues, agencies, families and carers, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Oversee service safety through the night between 10pm and 8am: including taking emergency calls and responding to emergency situations, taking planned care calls, checking CCTV, providing a thorough handover during shift changeovers.

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Extra Care service in Hull. We are a large extra care service which provides care and support for older adults with a range of additional needs within their own homes.

Relief Waking Night Support Worker Duties

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you'll have access to our SONA app, which allows you to pick up shifts anywhere in the country and provides information on services and shifts, as well as directions. You will be paid on a weekly basis via our Bank payroll.
