Support Worker (Relief Waking Night) - Carlisle

We are seeking experienced support staff to join our team, providing care to older adults in residential care homes and in their own homes within Extra Care settings in Carlisle. Our services support individuals, including those with dementia, focusing on promoting independence, dignity, inclusion, and overall wellbeing.

Role Overview

As a Relief Waking Night Support Worker, you will offer emotional and practical support, including personal care, household tasks, medication management, diet and nutrition, healthy living, and encouraging social engagement.

Candidate Requirements

• A warm, caring, and trustworthy nature, committed to the welfare of others.
• Familiarity with or willingness to train to support older adults with dementia empathetically.
• Minimum of 12 months' experience in a support worker role.

Additional Information

This position offers flexible shifts, ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study, or caring responsibilities. Payment is on a weekly basis.
