Job summary

Esteem Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a Relief Teaching and Learning Assistant at Holbrook School for Autism and Whitemoor sites to support pupils aged 4-19 with autism and learning disabilities.

You will assist with classroom routines, behaviour and regulation, and help promote independence, under the guidance of the Class Teacher.

The role is relief/zero hours; DBS check required; applications welcomed from all backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Experience with autism or learning disabilities is desirable but not essential.
• Must be able to work as part of a supportive team.
• Positive, flexible approach to duties.

Responsibilities

• Support with classroom routines.
• Assist with behaviour and regulation management.
• Promote student independence and personal care support.
• Report to Class Teacher as part of the team.
