Esteem Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a Relief Teaching and Learning Assistant at Holbrook School for Autism and Whitemoor sites to support pupils aged 4-19 with autism and learning disabilities.
You will assist with classroom routines, behaviour and regulation, and help promote independence, under the guidance of the Class Teacher.
The role is relief/zero hours; DBS check required; applications welcomed from all backgrounds.
You will work with 4-19-year-olds with autism and learning disabilities. Duties will include supporting with classroom routines, behaviour and regulation, promoting student independence and assisting with personal care. Reporting to the Class Teacher, applicants should have a positive, flexible approach, enjoy working with children/young people and be able to work as part of a team. Knowledge of working with children and young people with autism, learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviour is desirable but not a necessity.
