Job description

Mencap is seeking Relief Support Workers to join our team in York, East Riding of Yorkshire, UK.

About the Role

As a Relief Support Worker, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. Your responsibilities include assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support to a diverse group of people with unique needs.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Contract and Shift Details

This is a relief role with shifts available between 7am-10pm. All services operate 24-hour care, with rotas prepared at least 4 weeks in advance to allow personal planning. There is also an option for non-contractual sleep-in shifts, for which you will receive an enhanced flat rate.

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
