Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Relief Support Workers to join our team in Halifax.
As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
This is a busy house with four residents, each with different personalities. We are looking for a positive, happy, inclusive, kind person to join our team. A good sense of humour and a can-do attitude are essential.
Reliability is crucial as we plan our days and 1:1 sessions in advance, and it is important that these plans go ahead as scheduled.
We enjoy activities such as shows, bowling, cinema, eating out, drives, visits to car dealerships, social groups, music, DVDs, TV, arts and crafts, snooker, and are open to suggestions for other activities.

All our services provide 24-hour care. Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life!
Sleep-in shifts are available from 23:30-07:00, 07:00-10:00, with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
