Job summary

Swanway, a Creative Support service in Gateshead, is looking for Relief Support Workers to assist individuals with learning disabilities and other needs in a 12-apartment supported living setting. You'll provide personal care, support with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

You will work as a Key Worker, building trusting relationships and supporting people to pursue their dreams and ambitions in a flexible relief role with weekly pay.

• Ability to build warm, trusting relationships with service users
• Reliable and flexible around relief shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to individuals
• Administer medications as required
• Develop warm, trusting relationships with service users
• Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks
• Act as Key Worker to support individuals to achieve their dreams and ambitions
• Help people participate in activities they enjoy (discos, swimming, cinema outings)
