As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals we support with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

Working across two services in the Belper area no shift will be the same.

Belper Community support is a service where we support nine individuals to live as independently as possible within their own home. You will be supporting to maintain their homes from basic domestic tasks, supporting with household bills and finances, medication, supporting to access the local community, to making and attending appointments and teaching life skills such as cooking and budgeting.

In our supported living service, you will be part of a team who support five individuals within their shared home. Tasks will include medication, finance, and intimate personal care support. Meal planning and preparation, day centre support and other tasks required.

What we're looking for:

· A genuine passion for supporting others.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.

· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Contract options:

· Relief : As and when required.

All our services are 24hr care and include a sleep. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

Shift Patterns:

· Days/Evenings: Between 07:00-10:00, 10:00-15:00, 15:00-22:00

Sleep-in shifts you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £61.20.

*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
