Job summary

Creative Support is seeking Relief/Bank Support Workers in Blackpool, Lancashire to help individuals with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy lead more independent lives. The role involves supporting daily activities, employment and volunteering, shopping, social events and home life, with a focus on building trust with service users and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of twelve months relevant care experience.
• Attendance to initial induction courses.

Creative Support is looking for warm, reliable, and proactive Relief Support Workers to join our friendly team in Blackpool, Lancashire. Our services cater to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and epilepsy, providing them with quality care and support.

In this dynamic role, every day is different. You will support service users to lead fulfilling lives, whether that involves helping them with employment or volunteering, assisting with shopping and social activities, or simply relaxing at home. Our team ensures that service users are as independent as possible while offering the necessary assistance.

Building warm, trusting relationships with service users and their families is key to ensuring they have the best experience possible.

We offer flexible working hours, including full-time, part-time, and sleep-in shifts. Our shift patterns cover early, mid, and late shifts to meet the diverse needs of our service users. A minimum of twelve months relevant care experience is essential for this role as is attendance to initial induction courses.
