Creative Support is a national, fast-growing not-for-profit organization providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking for a Relief Support Worker to join our team at Doseley Road in Dawley, Telford.

We seek warm, caring, and flexible individuals to provide person-centred care and support at our residential home service in Dawley for adults with learning disabilities. You will work with a friendly team of Support Workers to provide respectful personal care to four individuals with diverse needs, including mobility support, nonverbal communication, epilepsy, and other complex needs. Your role will help ensure service users can enjoy valued, fulfilling lifestyles.

Relief Support Worker Duties:

1. Provide practical, emotional, and behavioural support flexibly
2. Communicate effectively with service users who are nonverbal
3. Deliver consistent 1-1 support to service users as part of a team
4. Develop and maintain warm, trusting relationships with service users
5. Perform general administrative duties, housing management tasks, and medication distribution

Our Doseley Road service is located just a six-minute walk from the centre of Dawley in Telford. There is free on-site parking for staff and several bus routes nearby.

Previous experience is essential for this role.

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts across the country and provides information on services, shifts, and directions. You will be paid weekly.
