Job summary

United Response in Chesterfield is seeking a Relief Support Worker on a zero-hour contract to provide compassionate, person-centred support to people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs.

You will help with daily routines, personal care and community activities, using the Nourish app for care plans. Training is provided, and DBS checks are required with costs borne by the employer.

Qualifications

  • Compassionate and dedicated to helping others.
  • Ability to build relationships with people supported.
  • Willingness to learn and use the Nourish care app.
  • DBS check required and paid for by United Response.

Responsibilities

  • Support with daily living activities in line with personal support plans (e.g., dressing, personal care, finances, medication).
  • Assist with appointments, employment, volunteering and hobbies as part of person-centred plans.

Job description

Role: Relief Support Worker

Salary: £13.25 per hour (plus an additional 12.07% annual leave allowance)

Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Hours: Relief - Zero Hour Contract

This position is all about building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day-to‑day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, Volunteering and hobbies.

As part of your role, you will be using a digital app called Nourish, where all care and support plans of the people we support are held. Experience of using a digital or mobile app would be desirable however full training will be given

The successful candidate will be subject to a full DBS check the cost of which to be met by United Response.
