Job summary

Carr Gomm is recruiting Support Practitioners for the Scottish Borders, including Melrose and Galashiels. The role involves helping people with daily living at home and in their communities, supporting recovery from mental ill health and promoting a person-centred approach to care.

Full training (including SVQ qualifications) is provided. Driving licence is preferred, and shifts include daytime, sleepover, weekends, and contingency relief to cover 24-hour service needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing daily living support in home/community is beneficial.
• Full training including SVQ qualifications is provided by the service.
• Holding a UK driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily living at home and in the community.
• Assist with planning for the future and reducing social isolation.
