This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Practitioner. No two days are the same with Turning Point Scotland!
You should have a genuine commitment to support people to live their best lives. No previous experience needed; full training provided. The right values of respect, compassion, inclusion, and integrity are essential. Flexibility to work on a rota is available.
Our service supports self-directed support, allowing individuals to manage their own budgets for various needs, including physical and learning disabilities and mental health conditions. We also support those with complex needs or forensic histories.
Sleepover shifts include a separate payment of £96.00 per shift. We also pay travel time at 45p per mile. IT skills are required for all vacancies. Successful candidates must register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting.

Relief Workers are part of a list of approved relief workers, deployed as needed for leave, sickness, or peak periods. They can fit shifts around other commitments and are paid monthly for hours worked, with holiday entitlement and expense reimbursement.
Basic training is provided to ensure safety and meet health & safety legislation. Relief work may not suit those with full-time employment elsewhere.
Requires a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Includes personal care, cooking, and housekeeping tasks. Service users are not involved in these tasks.
