Join us as a Relief Support Practitioner in Rothesay

Are you looking for a fulfilling role that makes a positive impact in your local community? At Carr Gomm, we are offering a unique opportunity to become a Relief Support Practitioner in our Home care team, making a real impact on people’s lives. We have both day and night shifts available.

About Us :

Carr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity. Our service in Rothesay provides support to people to lead a good quality of life in their own homes. Our support helps to keep people in their own homes, surrounded by familiarity and comfort.

The Role :

As a Support Practitioner, you’ll be the helping hand that people on. Your role involves supporting people manage daily life. This will often include meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care as well as other aspects of their daily life. Our role is not to do things for people but to work with them. The role includes compassionate end-of-life care in the comfort of people’s own homes respecting their choices and wishes.

What We’re Looking For :

  • We are looking for caring individuals who have a genuine passion for making a positive impact in their community.
  • You do not need professional experience to join us. We provide comprehensive induction training to all new team members.
  • Having a driver’s license is a plus, but not a must – your dedication to making a difference is what truly counts!

We welcome applications from any candidates already eligible to work in the UK or those that can apply for a visa granting permission to work in the UK (e.g. dependent visas, ancestry etc.) that do not require sponsorship from Carr Gomm.
