Job summary

A local leisure organization is seeking motivated individuals to join their Youth, Community & Schools Team as coaches. The role involves planning and delivering coaching sessions aimed at increasing youth participation in sports across Nuneaton and Bedworth. Applicants must hold an NGB Level 2 coaching qualification, a Good Practice & Child Protection Certificate, and a current First Aid qualification. This position is on a relief zero-hour contract, with sessions scheduled during school hours and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Essential: NGB Level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent.
  • Recognised Good Practice & Child Protection Certificate required.
  • Current First Aid qualification needed.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate sport coaching sessions.
  • Increase young people's participation in activities.
  • Deliver sessions before/after school and during holidays.

Overview

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for sport and play activities to join our Youth, Community & Schools Team. The main role is to plan, deliver and evaluate high quality sport specific coaching sessions or play activities across Nuneaton, Bedworth and surrounding areas, aimed at increasing the number of young people participating in activities. Sessions will take place during the school day and before and after school, with opportunities to deliver during school holidays.
