Job summary

MHA Beechville Bolton is seeking a competent Senior Care Assistant (Relief) to join our care team on a relief basis at Beechville, Bolton. You will support the Home Manager, take temporary charge during shifts and lead a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care with dignity and respect for residents.

Experience in care settings and a track record of leading shifts are valued. IT skills, good communication, and a willingness to progress to Level 3 Diploma are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting.
• Experience leading a shift or deputising for a manager.
• Strong IT skills, incl. email and basic office systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Take temporary charge of the home during shifts.
• Lead, supervise and develop care staff.
• Provide hands-on resident care with dignity and privacy.
• Support Home Manager with records, audits and regulatory duties.
• Administer medication as delegated and contribute to care planning.
