Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA licensed Relief Security Officer to support shifts across Leeds, York, Bradford and surrounding areas. You will cover holidays and sickness, with prospects for a fixed shift pattern when opportunities arise.

The role requires flexibility to work various hours per week including days, nights and weekends, and a commitment to internal development and progression within the company.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front‑Line License - essential.
• A UK Manual Driving License - essential.
• Confidence and ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain surveillance of the site with regular patrols and record in line with requirements.
• Brief visitors and contractors, ensure sign-in/out compliance.
• Record entry/exit of deliveries and process related paperwork.
• Carry out patrols to required standards and manage alarm systems if needed.
• Follow site quality procedures and complete incident/log documentation.
• Keep training records up to date and maintain SIA badge visibility.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
