Securitas UK is seeking a Relief Security Officer for sites in Southampton and Portsmouth. The role involves providing professional security services, controlling access, and ensuring the safety of people and property. You will uphold our standards of integrity and vigilance on site.

From day one, you’ll receive learning and development opportunities, mentorship, and a range of benefits. A valid SIA licence and UK residency are required, with a UK driving licence and at least two years’ security

Qualifications

• UK National
• Eligible to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Minimum 2 years’ Security Officer experience
• Ability to adapt quickly, learn new processes, and work in a professional environment
• Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable work/history record
• British nationality and UK residence for last 5 years due to site clearance requirements
• Strong communication skills in English—written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Control access to site and monitor security systems.
• Conduct regular security patrols.
• Manage keys, alarms, CCTV, and site security equipment.
• Issue visitor and contractor passes.
• Complete security logs and incident reports.
• Support traffic and parking management.
