Job summary

First Response Group is seeking Relief Security Officers to patrol and monitor premises across locations in England. The role includes access control, incident response, and maintaining a secure, welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

You will report to site management and work as part of a team to uphold health and safety standards, complete accurate records, and respond effectively to emergencies and alarms.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence.
• Driving Licence.
• 5-year checkable work or education history.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and monitoring to deter unauthorised access and identify risks.
• Control and monitor entry/exit points and verify visitor passes.
• Respond quickly to alarms, incidents and emergencies.
• Provide professional customer service and assist visitors and staff.
• Maintain incident logs and handover notes to ensure compliance.
• Assist in safety procedures and evacuation planning when needed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
