Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Relief Security Officer for the East Midlands (Burton & Derby areas) on-site at various client locations. The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence and your own vehicle, with shifts across days, nights and weekends to cover holidays and short-notice callouts.

You’ll support clients, protect people and assets, and adapt to different environments while following site policies and maintaining industry standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Own vehicle required.
• Valid SIA licence (SC clearance a bonus).

Responsibilities

• Be the reassuring presence that keeps people, property and assets safe.
• Follow site policies and Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Adapt to changing site needs and suggest improvements to service.
• Log incidents accurately and follow reporting procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and emergency services.
