Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our security team for client sites across the UK. The role involves covering holidays and sickness, with hours arranged to suit you. Typical shifts run 6am-3pm and 3pm-10pm/11pm, with some sites at midnight.

The position can be full-time or used to supplement income. Candidates must be 18+, hold an SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence, and have 5 years of verifiable work history.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the UK.
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence is required.
• 5 years of checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable and professional approach.
• Experience in security or a customer-facing role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide a visible security presence.
• Manage incidents with effective conflict resolution and control access.
• Conduct security patrols and monitor egress to deter crime.
• Interact positively with the public and provide directions as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and work as part of a security team.
