Job Description:

EQUANS is recruiting for a Relief Security Officer to be based at Salford Hospital located in Salford M6 8HD. This is a permanent, full-time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £27,.72 Plus added enhancements for weekend and night work.

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the hospital premises. You will patrol designated areas, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to incidents promptly and professionally. Your role will involve enforcing hospital policies, assisting with emergency situations, and providing support to hospital staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of all hospital areas.
  • Monitor security cameras and alarms to identify potential security risks.
  • Respond to emergencies, including medical emergencies and security breaches.
  • Assist with the management of access control systems and visitor management procedures.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and local law enforcement agencies as necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff members.

Requirements

  • Applicants with prior security, law enforcement, or military experience are preferred.
  • Hold an SIA Licence
  • Full 5 years address history
  • Full 5 years work or education history.
