Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Relief Security Officer to join its security team at a major client site on the Isle of Grain. You will provide a visible security presence and respond to emergencies while maintaining high safety standards.

This role requires a valid SIA front line licence with CCTV, a clean UK driving record, and flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights and weekends. Full training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK manual driving licence.
• Valid SIA front line licence with a CCTV license.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to pass security vetting.
• Basic/intermediate IT skills.
• Own personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible and proactive security presence.
• Responding quickly and effectively to fires, first aid incidents, and environmental emergencies.
• Maintaining and inspecting emergency equipment/vehicles to operational standards.
• Conducting internal and external patrols, searches, and incident reporting.
• Conducting patrols in a vehicle.
• Observing operations from a CCTV control room.

As an Relief Officer, you will play a key part in maintaining safety and security across a major client site.
