Relief Security Officer - Tesco Grimsby

Job Overview
- To protect our customer's property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any updates.
- Deliver results that meet or exceed KPIs and Service Level Agreements, ensuring contract retention through full responsibility and accountability.
- Undertake additional training for continuous self-development.
Main Duties
Operations
- Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in line with UK law.
- Complete all tasks as defined in the published AI's.
- Review and familiarize with AI's regularly, suggesting amendments for service improvement.
- Obtain and wear required licenses (Security Guarding or Door Supervision, CCTV PSS SIA Licence), renewing licenses 16 weeks before expiry.
- Follow safety and legal obligations, instructions, and procedures.
- Work systematically and methodically.
Training
- Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
- Engage in additional training for self-development as directed.
- Utilize technology for work objectives and professional growth.
Security and Health & Safety
- Report hazards or safety issues immediately.
- Remain alert to threats and changes, taking appropriate action.
- Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations.
- Record incidents accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to schedules and ensure check calls are made as stipulated.
- Report incidents to emergency services and communication centre.

- Previous security experience
- SIA License
- SC Clearance (desirable)
