Job Overview

Mitie is seeking a Relief Retail Security Officer capable of delivering exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances).

Vetting

You must have a full 5-year checkable employment/education history; failure to provide this could result in withdrawal of an offer or termination of employment.

Main Duties

• Deliver industry-leading customer service
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct patrols of the store
• Utilise CCTV systems to support crime reduction and stock loss prevention
• Liaise with store management teams
• Coordinate with Police and crime partnerships to support crime reduction in store
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety and reduce crime
