Job Overview

Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

It is preferable that you hold a current SIA license or certificates (training can be provided in some circumstances).

Vetting

A full 5-year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to provide this may result in withdrawal of offer or termination.

Main Duties

• Deliver industry-leading customer service
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct patrols of the store
• Utilize CCTV systems to support crime reduction and stock loss prevention
• Liaise with store management teams
• Coordinate with police and crime partnerships to reduce in-store crime
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety and support crime reduction
