Job summary

Childbase Partnership Limited is seeking a Relief Nursery Practitioner for Berryfields Day Nursery in Aylesbury. The role offers flexible, ad-hoc shifts with a pay rate of £12.87–£14.33 per hour. Ideal candidates will have experience caring for young children and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Role

Relief Nursery Practitioner – Berryfields Day Nursery, Aylesbury, HP18 1BB.

Contract: Permanent. Hours: 0 per week, 52 weeks per year.

Salary: £12.87–£14.33 per hour.

Working pattern: Varied, ad‑hoc shifts between 07:30–18:30, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience caring for babies and children aged five and under, ideally in an early years environment.
• DfE‑approved early years qualification at level2 or above is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of child development and EYFS principles to implement engaging activities and support learning through play.
