Qualifications

• Experience in childcare or a relevant qualification is beneficial.
• Ability to support children with SEND/ASL needs.
• Passion for child development and a fun approach to learning.

Responsibilities

• Meet individual children’s needs, including support with SEND/ASL.
• Plan and assess children's development in line with EYFS.
• Encourage and praise children's achievements while ensuring fun.

If commuting, the A38 is a mere 3-minute drive away, and we provide onsite parking. Arriving via public transport? There is a bus stop just outside the nursery on Merchant Street, serving routes SW, U2 unibus and X52.

What to expect as a Relief Nursery Practitioner

• Ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs.
• Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
• Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.
• And most of all…have FUN!
