Job Role: Relief Night Worker
Salary: £14.94 per hour
Hours: Flexible, covering between the hours of 10:00 PM to 08:00 AM
Contract type: Relief, zero hours
Location: Weymouth

The Role
Haven is a warm and welcoming 6-bed refuge in the Weymouth area, providing a safe and supportive space for women who have experienced rough sleeping and face a range of challenges, including mental health struggles, substance misuse, and domestic violence. Our dedicated team is here 24/7, offering compassionate support to help women rebuild their lives and move towards independence.
We’re looking for Relief Night Workers to provide an on-site presence at our supported accommodation, covering overnight and weekend shifts (10:00 PM – 8:00 AM). This is a lone-working role, ensuring the safety and security of the building and its occupants while also fostering positive relationships with the local community. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, such as occupancy stats and project logs, in line with quality standards. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to work at other locations within your designated area in the future.

Responsibilities Include
- Provide an on-site presence, which includes overnight waking cover as required by the service, to maintain the safety and security of the building, facilities and clients
- Escalate critical incidents to the tier 2 on-call support
- Supervise the entry and exit of the building for the tenant's security and safety.
- Maintain full and accurate logs of the events during the shifts
- Ensure that administration is done promptly and to a high standard using the electronic case management systems, with detailed, concise and accurate records

Qualifications / Requirements
- Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
