Job summary

Oundle School is seeking a Relief Matron to supervise and care for pupils in our senior boarding house. The role is not live-in, with 16 active hours over a 30-hour cover period and staff support from the Health Centre.

Training for First Aid will be provided if needed, and staff are encouraged to take part in school life and events. You will interact closely with pupils on medical needs and daily routines, helping to maintain a supportive, safe environment in a vibrant school community in

Qualifications

• Must have a current First Aid qualification (training provided if needed).
• Experience in pastoral support and caring for pupils is desirable.
• Ability to engage with pupils and contribute to school life.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for pupils in the senior boarding house.
• Assist with medical needs and daily routines for pupils.
• Attend House events and participate in life of the School.
