Overview

Relief Logistics Security officer. Pay rate: £12.60ph. Various shifts - candidate must be flexible and able to work 12 hours, both day and night shift (to be discussed at interview).

Responsibilities
  • To deliver industry leading customer service
  • To conduct patrols of the depot
  • To provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors, and visitors
  • Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
  • Liaise with the depot management teams
  • To deter theft, whether internal and/or external and other poor working practices
  • To conduct Searches (to be discussed at interview)
  • To respond to any on site incident or request for assistance and assume control until arrival of the Client, Emergency Services or Depot Duty Manager
  • To highlight all breaches of security procedures including internal and external crime
  • Support with access and egress to and from the site as is required by the systems installed
  • Gatehouse duties which will include booking in vehicles and supporting the transport operation (to be discussed at interview)
  • Must have reasonable level of PC skills
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Current SIA licence or SIA Certificates preferred; in some circumstances training for a licence can be provided
  • Full 5-year checkable employment/education history
