Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Assistant to support the Bee Curious curriculum, deliver engaging activities, and mentor unqualified team members. The role is based at Busy Bees Eastbourne within a one-floor, accessible setting, featuring a sensory room and outdoor spaces designed for various age groups.

Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 qualification and experience with under-5s, with strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in early years education.
• Experience working with children under 5.
• Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Take on the role of Key Person, fostering strong partnerships with children and their families.
• Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.
